BrightPath Behavior is looking for a compassionate, organized, and relationship-driven Client Financial Services Specialist to help families navigate their path to services and strengthen our network providers across the organization
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination, oversight, and/or performance a variety of accounts receivable and billing administration activities as well as a variety of client financial services support activities on behalf of the organization. Additionally, this candidate will participate in the coordination and completion of special projects and/or job duties as assigned to support the Billing Services department. This employee will be reviewed annually by the direct supervisor as defined by the company’s Organizational Chart.Who We Are:

Salary Range:
- $45,000 - $50,000 per year
- Salary Exempt
Responsibilities

· Conduct a benefits and eligibility check on new and existing clients
· Perform eligibility and benefits calls to insurance
· Educate caregivers on how their policy handles Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) benefits and discuss patient responsibility, if applicable
· Create and maintain payment plans
· Provide payment support resources to client families, as applicable
· Generate and send patient responsibility invoices
· Post patient responsibility payments
· Manage patient Accounts Receivable (AR) and resolve provider inquiries
· Research and manage client refund requests
· Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
· Generate and send primary and secondary claims in insurance
· Post insurance payments and reconcile Accounts Receivable
· Manage working aging report
· Research and resolve payment discrepancies
· Track denied insurance claims and submit appeals
· Manage medical record requests and submit documents
· Resolve insurance AR balances and denials
· Check incoming mail and scan all received documents into the appropriate system at least once per week
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and billing regulations
· Accept feedback and be willing and able to implement new or modified policies and procedures
· Utilize effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and established protocols
· Work from assigned job location during standard business hours
· Attend required meetings
· Complete other projects and duties, as assigned

Skills & Qualifications
Position Qualifications and Credentials:
· Candidates must reside in Austin, Texas
· Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
· Experience with Billing and RCM for ABA Therapy Preferred
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment
· Ability to take feedback from supervisors and make corrective action
· Ability to work on a team
· Willing to learn and implement new skills
Physical Demands:
Occasionally- less than 1/3 of the time; Frequently- 1/3-2/3 of the time; Regularly- over 2/3 of the time
· Must be able to regularly assume a variety of repetitive postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing, etc.)
· Must be able to frequently stand for sustained periods of time
· Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
· Must be able to regularly work in a highly stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor throughout daily interactions
· Must have manual dexterity sufficient to regularly perform various keyboard functions
· Must be able to regularly give and receive detailed information through oral communication
· Must have visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
