The Director of Growth and M&A will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and closing on acquisition opportunities for BrightPath Behavior. Working directly with senior management and the private equity sponsor, the candidate will be responsible for identifying practice acquisitions, prioritizing acquisition candidates and developing a pipeline through relationship/network management, in-person meetings, cold calls and through third-party referrals.
The candidate will work to assess key markets and will be directly responsible for managing projects that augment the Company’s strategic goals. The candidate will play a significant role in meeting the Company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities
- Willing to familiarize yourself with the Company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
- Organize and manage business development campaigns to target acquisition candidates, including market research to identify potential targets
- Conducts market research to proactively identify opportunities that inform growth strategies
- Contact acquisition targets through cold calls, emails, conference attendance and other means
- Set up meetings to engage the target and help pitch the Company’s value proposition
- Manage all facets of the transaction process, including negotiation of the letter of intent (LOI), due diligence, legal documentation, and integration
- Prepare Board of Directors level reports and presentations in support of acquisition opportunities
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders on specific functional-level due diligence workstreams and post-deal integration efforts
- Manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and the Company’s pipeline
- Actively network and build strong relationships with practices and providers to enhance strategic relationships
- Communicate complex issues effectively and represent the organization positively in various contexts, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with growth and operational goals
- Exhibit thorough attention to detail and accuracy while delivering timely work products
- Assist in the development of KPIs and metric reports, as needed
- Complete other job duties and projects, as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in business development or sales
- 3+ years of transactional/M&A experience
- Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred, but not required
- A track record of working in leadership roles and collaborating within a team environment
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams applications
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Maintains an extroverted, energetic, and competitive approach
- Familiar with financial analysis, financial modeling, and valuation
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
